Krabi
Krabi town is the cultural centre of Krabi province, with an airport operating several domestic as well as international flights.
Far less crowded than nearby Phuket, the Krabi province has gained popularity over recent years for its impressive sea-mountain scenery, Khao Sok National Park, and stunning beaches of Railey and Ao Nang that are amongst the most beautiful in the world.
As a geographic extension of Phang Nga, the region reaches south into deeper, clearer waters and thus offering fine snorkeling and diving.
Krabi also is the entry point for most tourists travelling to Koh Lanta or one of the other idyllic islands of the Southern Andaman Sea, and is the doorway to the some of the most beautiful sailing in the world.

Railay Beach
The peninsula cut off from the main land by sheer lime stone pinnacles impresses by it's georgeous landscape. White sandy beaches with restaurants and beachbars nestle on the feet of natural towers and walls that attrac rock climbers and beach lovers all the same.
Koh Dam - Chicken island
Aside from its 'chicken head', this islet is also popular due to its 'hidden beach', a long peninsular of white sand, which is only visible when the tide is low. When the tide is high, there are two beautiful beaches to choose from, one on this island and one on a neighbouring island.
Koh Yawasam
There are approximately 10 smaller islands surrounding Koh Dam, creating a beautiful scene of rocks and vegetation rising from the emerald waters of The Andaman Sea.
Koh Hong
Visit the biggest Hong (Thai for 'room') in the region by dinghy, swim at high tide and admire the sheer cliffs around. Explore the marvellous silica sand beach and a deep limestone cave with bats, stalagmites and stalagtites.
Koh Pak Bia
Sail through the scenery of bizarely shaped pinnacles, that are famous amongst birdwatchers in Thailand. Visit a spectacular strip of white sandy beach for sun bathing, swimming and further exploring. Large coral heads that rise from depths around 20 metres invite for suba diving, as the waters are much clearer than further inside the Phang Nga Bay.

Sailing Seasons
From November to April during the northeast monsoon the weather is usually calm and sunny, from May through October the region is completely exposed to the southwest monsoon.
The Koh Haa group is exposed, offering no real protection in either season.
