Koh Racha
Koh Racha Yai and Noi, 10 miles to the south of Phuket, is for most of the region's visitors a popular excursion to find beautiful beaches, restaurants and the 5-star resort. There's some excellent diving, snorkelling, and fishing to be found all around this group.

Sailing Seasons
In the southwest monsoon from May through October (sometimes until Christmas), the anchorages on Phuket's west coast are totally exposed and there are no protected anchorages.
During the northeast monsoon the entire west cost provides generally good to perfect shelter, the winds are often strong with relatively calm seas.
